Sarah has been a Massage Therapist since 2006 where she graduated from the Soma Institute’s core program, and graduated again as valedictorian from Soma's Master's Program in 2011.
Sarah has practiced massage in clinical chiropractic settings, 5 star spas, at sporting events, and in private homes. With this background, she has developed a unique style to make sure you get the therapeutic work you need, while also allowing you to relax.
She has worked on runners at the Chicago Marathon, with the Chicago Red Stars, a women’s pro soccer team, and has traveled to Mexico City to work with a youth boxing team sponsored by the World Boxing Council.
She lives an active lifestyle, and is passionate about working out to feel healthy and strong. She knows that everyone, regardless of their background or activity level, deserves the benefits of massage. If it’s to help you sleep, reduce stress or headache tension, or to help speed up the recovery process from injury or muscle strain, massage can help you!
Leslie graduated from Cortiva Institute - Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2008 and specializes in myofascial release, clinical approaches for the neck and low back, postural strain issues, sports massage, deep tissue, and trigger point work.
Leslie grew up in Deerfield, IL and attended Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia where she received a BFA in Textile Design. After she began running in 2000, she felt challenged trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle while balancing the demands of work and life. She felt passionate about finding a career where she could encourage others seeking to improve how they felt with positive health and wellness choices.
Leslie enjoys sharing her passion for anatomy and kinesiology with clients and combines that passion with clinical reasoning to evaluate effectiveness and structure future session plans. When not at the office, Leslie loves to play with her dog, run, practice yoga, hike, and cook.
